What a thank less task this is.
I’ve had my disc brakes for almost 10months now, i bought them second hand and even since purchasing the rear hasn’t been right. Lots of air to blame it would seem.
Spent a good hour or so, bleeding then pumping the lever to try and get the air out of the system. Lots of air at first coming up and out of the reservoir and then towards the end of the process a fair few bubbles coming out on the caliper end. I proceeded to pump fresh fluid through, i was amazed at the colour and amount of sediment that was in the fluid i was removing.
all seems to be working correctly now though. Will wait until i take the bike for a proper ride to pass judgement.
