Received my charity pack from the BHF ready for the Dorset cycle ride in which I am riding 50miles.
The pack contains some useful information for first time entrants like myself, laying down the basic rules for the ride and just some general common sense tips.
If you’ve been keeping up with my blog you’ll know I’m doing this to aid my fitness and weight loss but at the same time I have first hand family experience of the help given by the BHF, in their research and also their efforts to improve the care and help patients can recieve.
If you’d like to sponsor me on my ride this would be greatly appreciated, all the relevant details are available on my Just Giving page or if you’re a UK resident and wish to make use of the technology you can text JTVV90 £1 to 70070 to sponsor me (the amount can be changed if you wish). I am hoping to raise £150 from completing this ride, £50 will fund a scientist for two hours, £100 will fund a heart helpline nurse for a day. These may seem like small things for such a large charity but every donation can make a difference to someone.
